Default RE: Vectorflight Edge 540 build

Gary,

>>I can't remember the measurements of my stand, but I will get them to you this evening. The stand works great. Due to it's configuration, I can work on the plane in any orientation needed (i.e. either side, inverted, or right side up). I can also change the top and bottom tubes for larger planes if needed.<<

Thanks. Have you looked for any rubber caps for the feet? PVC pipe is the ultimate construction material. If it had been available to the Egyptians, I think the pyramids would have looked quite differently.

>>I would definitely go with the Saito 100.<<

The Saito 100 is currently in an Ultra Stick that I rarely fly. I like the S100 but I think one of the reasons I rarely fly it is because the dang thing is out of fuel in 5 minutes of flight time (10.8 oz tank) . Seems like I've hardly gotten airborne before I'm dead sticking it in. I believe you said you were putting a 16 oz tank in your VF Edge. By my proportional calculation, a 16 oz tank will give me 7.4 minutes. Does this sound right? As I'm writing this, I'm thinking that I should pull the tank from the US and see if the pick-up line has come a-loose.

>>Keep us posted on the arrival of your plane.<<

Did VF notify you when they shipped the plane? I ordered mine on 12/13 and they said it would ship by the end of the month. Well it's the end of the month isn't it?

>>Unfortunately I am stuck at work today. I guess somebody has to keep us safe and help protect our freedoms.<<

Thank you, sir.
