RE: What are you guys flying with the Ryobi 31cc.
I've been conversing with Ty Brown about the Meister sport scale P-51 at rcsb. He thinks a ryobi would be ideal for it. I had my doubts, but hearing how some of yours are flying at 18 lbs, I think he may be right. The web site states 90" ws with a 1400 sq in area. Cant say I agree with their values on wing loading though. At 19 lbs I calculate about 32 oz/sqft wing loading. Which is still acceptable for a knock around sport flying warbird. This is starting to look like my next warbird project after the TF giant P-47. I want a low pucker power warbird to fly around.
