I have read all this Hi Tec stuff for a while now and just wanted to add this.

P51 1/4 scale Mustang has 645 MG Hi Techs never a problem 8 flights
PT 19 1.20 size 605BB Hi Tecs no problems 50 flights
F20 60 size Cermark 605 / 645BB 28 flights No problems
Numerous flying wings HS 81 No Problems

While I have never installed them in a Jet I don't see the kind of problems you guys describe.

The Digitals from Hi Tec I have no experience with.
