the backpage of the manual says to be careful not to raise the flap during approach......
but you found out yourself.
how is the rudder? can you bring it around in knife?

I'm at the cowl, what a pain, balsa dust and chips everywhere, i'm building it slow an hour a day.
but gotta speed up now, new kit is ordered and coming soon.
good luck and keep a safe altitude until you are comfy.
