Default Need Some Experienced Advice

Hi, I'm new to rc boats and I'm looking for a winter project that I can take my time and build to get it all set up for this summer. I'm a fairly experienced electric rc'r and I have built some fairly high end racing monster trucks for my local track but I'm looking to do something different so I want to give boating a shot. I don't really have a price range, what I am afraid of is purchasing and assembling a boat only to decide I want more performance later. I do want to stay on the electric side for now, simply for the fact that I have chargers and several GP3300 7 cell side by side packs and I'm not looking to deal with nitro engines right now. Below is a link to a hull that I think would be a good one for me to start out with, but if I'm wrong please let me know. Basically I'm just here to say hi, and any tips, tricks, or links to where I could learn more would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.
