Default RE: Accel Katana 40 From OMP

I've had the first and second run Katanas from Accel. I bought my first one from OMP, and the second one came straight from Accel. They are selling direct now.

I actually sold my EF Edge to fund the first Kat, and do not regret it to this day. Let me be clear that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the EF Edge, just that the Kat suited my flying better. I was much more comfortable with the Kat. Before I sold the EF, I had a very good 3D pilot give it a flight, and he could 3D the crap out of it, and look good. I never quite got the hang of the plane.

The 63 will be great, just push everything into the rear of the hatch area, and shoot for a CG of 130mm to 135mm back from LE, and not the 100 that the manual says. I don't know of anyone really pumped about the plane at 100mm. Accel has changed the information to reflect the CG of 130 to 135 recently. A simple point of reference is the front screws of the aileron servos.

My second run Accel Katana GS 40 came in at 4 pounds 4 ounces with a Saito 72. That's not bad at all for an ARF.
