Boss - I have been visiting some of the fields in my area over the past few weeks to see what's happening locally regarding the DA50. 3 out of 5 people I talked to have the problems described in the thread you mentioned. One of the engines having problems is new and the other two each have about five gallons through them. The owners of the two with time on the engines said it isn't quite as bad, but the problem is certainly still there. A couple of those having problems showed me what happens. It's just like what's described in the thread. Needless to say, those who are having problems are not happy at all especially considering the DA is supposed to be the top of the heap. The two who aren't having problems are very happy with the engine.
(Not trying to start a DA versus anything else argument, or slam DA. Just relating what I have found doing my own inquiries).
