Default RE: Extreme Flight 87" Yak 54 - Build & Fly

This is what I'm running for a receiver battery. I know there are several ways to setup your battery, but this setup will result in the absolute smallest amount of voltage loss caused by connectors & wires.

4800 Li Ion Fromeco Battery w/ 14 guage wire and a Deans connector
Fromeco Failsafe regulator with three 22awg output leads - the three output leads all plug into the receiver

For those of you who don't know, fail safe regulators do not pass a current through a switch so there is no voltage loss caused by it.

Other battery setups will work just fine. However, they will not deliver 8A continuous at 6V. Mine will. For those of you who say the plane will not see 8A, refer to the first sentence in this paragraph.
