That is far from the truth, the Bullys run very well. Indeed, some pattern fliers prefer them to the OS 140RX.

Going way back Bully took the Webra engines and modified them to improve on the weaknesses that made them less than desirable for pattern flying.

The new Webra 1.45 Areo X has now incorporated many of the changes that Bully made and therefore it is a much better stock engine than the Webra 1.20. However, with the 1.45 Bully still makes changes such as the dual plug head and modifications to the carb. After these modifications the throttle transition is much smoother and more reliable.

Basically the Bully engines are Webras with enhancements to make them perform better.
