There is no reason to take the muffler off the Heli to cook it in Anti-Freeze as your brown spots are minor in nature.
The brown spots are a little worse now than they ever were.....also I had the muffler off when I replaced the clutch so I was going to clean it then, but couldn't find anything at home that worked...now it is back on the heli ready for flying tomorrow so I will have to wait.
