RE: rc on tv via spike tv
You know, if you guys want Spike TV to do an r/c contest, you don't write like the mind of an 8th grader. The people who decide to make produce a new show have years of experience in marketing and such. They won't even consider something where you say "we need hot cars, hot girls, and maybe a few old people to keep things interesting."
If you write them, talk about how big the r/c car market has become. Show them there are people out there who are interested in watching this kind of stuff on tv. More than likely the person reading your suggestion will be someone who thinks an r/c car is a complete toy. Show them they're wrong. Present links and videos of the cars. Send pictures. Maybe write about your experience with from the time you started until now. Perhaps you had a hard time tuning or setting the car up? If you want a how-to show, show them there are people out there who can benefit from the show's topics.
There's a lot you can say, but you have to be professional about it.
