Like Trucker01 says you can do it eather way.
If you forget to mark your body post before you paint you can mark the top of each post with a magic marker and line the body on your car then press down on each post and it will leave a mark for your post...
Dont forget to remove the shrink wrap after its painted to put the decals on.
