Nope, nothing is applied to the tire but 100% silicone.. I'll even tell ya what kind I use.. G.E. Silicone 1, cuz it cures softer for maximum traction. Doesn't last as long, cuz soft silicone = high wear, but it's the best for performance. Silicone 2 wears longer, but it doesn't hook up as well.
