Default Starting Project

Hey all,

Alright I suppose you lot have seen thousands of these threads started over the years that this site has been opened, I tried to address this idea in my head so that my first post to this forum would not be the ramblings of a newbie, but sadly after a half a dozen drafts I will have to subjet you to the ramblings of a newbie.... lol

Ok the basic idea behind this post is that after 3 years of telling myself that I would get into RC modelling and flying, I finally bit the bullet and bought a ARF Trainer a 40 size glow engine, and in a day the radio gear mode 2. I have also bought a number of books off amazon, the one that I have recieved is "Aircraft Workshop: Learn to make Models that FLY" I was impressed, I have been reading up on it and have started construction on one of the basic trainers that the book suggests [Micro T].

I have started drawing up plans for my next build and I wanted to talk to the pros about it, basically I want to know if any of you lot have come accross anything on this model that I plan to build, After spending about 4 days searching for plans or pictures of a RC aircraft of this Type I was unsuccessful, basically it appears that it has never been done, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel if some one has already taken the time to draw up plans.

The Aircraft is the Fieseler Fi 167

I have started work on designing the undercarriage at this point, just incase some ones does know of a similar RC aircraft that exists, but if not I wanted to this is post to also ask some questions.I haven't quited worked out the scale just yet, but I am thinking of using a 40 size engine.

Heres the things I hope you can help me with

- Has some one either made this aircraft before
- If so do you have pictures or contact details
- If not do you have any details on if this aircraft type had FLAPS, I doubt it, as it is a biplane, but you never know, never assume....
- Scale suggestions
- Detailed Pictures, similar to a walkaround
- Ideas or Tips?

I apologise before hand if this thread is an assault on your senses or in general is a FUBAR post but I tried lol

- Phil
