Those skids are pieces of crap I broke them with a light landing.. ...... , I made my own by cutting off original skids (I kept the bars that come down from heli) and drilling holes in two pieces of wood, also sanding them down so they look like skids and then spray painted them black, look pretty slick, and don't break all the time =).
