I got the Airtronics MX-3S FM 75 mhz radio. I paided $164.99 form towerhobbies with the holiday discount. It was regular $174.99. That is with one servo. I used that servo as the replacement of the throttle servo. I have a hitec 625 as my steering servo. Its about 90 oz of torque with a speed of .15 at 6V. I paid $38 for that servo. I have noticed a real big difference with the MX-3S over the stock CEN radio. You will have alot more control and feel for what your car is doing with a better radio.
