I have first hand experience with both the Dave Brown (MK imitation) and the Excelleron (MK imitation) mounts. For my money/effort, I'd try the stock one first. It is really surprisingly effective. I've been very please with it's performance so far. If you decide you don't like it later, it is a slam dunk to install a DB mount.
As I recall, the OS doesn't quite thump as hard as those YS pounders.... less radical cam timing, I think....I'd give it a go, and bet a prop nut you'll like it.
