A .40 size engine NEVER makes sense. The .46's weigh the same as the .40's but have more power, so why ever buy a .40????
The .46LA is too much engine for the plane but with 3D too much is just about right
I think the .46LA (NOT .46FX) would be fine for someone experienced with 3D planes, the LA only weighs 12.5oz w/muffler. If you can't use the left stick forget the .46LA, you'll tear the plane apart. The plane is a floater and designed to fly low and SLOW but when I hit the throttle I want to see some pull.
I never tried the .46LA in this plane but I do have one in a trainer I could use. Hmmmm......
Like I said, the .25LA works fine, I was just giving you an option.
