Default Data terminal

Nate,

I spoke to Laars who I believe is the owner of Sim Jet at Florida Jets back in February and he told me the the terminal was about 3 weeks away. That
's 7 months ago I was also the lucky winner of the Sim Jet 700 raffle . On my gift certificate is says "delivery no later than June 1st 2002" Now it is September and still no sign of the engine. My latest e-mail from them says 6 weeks before delivery.

I think I know what is going wrong. Sim Jet is using a different calender than the rest of the world. One Sim Jet week = one real world Year.

Seems that they are using a different thrust measurement also. 34lbs of Sim Jet thrust = 24 lbs of real world thrust.

To answer your question, I don't think it is possible to use somebody else's GSU since the Sim Jet ECU is developed by Sim Jet. (Probably using Sim Jet eletronics instead of real world components <G>)
