Default RE: Nitro 3 Upper Deck

ORIGINAL: basher8

I could be wrong but if you get the HPI graphite deck I dont think a hump pack will work because of the drop in the deck for the receiver. You want to keep the battery as low as possible, This will keep your center of gravity lower.

And I'm not so sure about that clean look
oh yea i kind of over read that this was an HPI cf top deck.. well yea with this top deck a flat pack would have a better fit then a hump pack. the advantage of my set up(using hotbodies cf deck) is that all the weight of the electronics is distributed under the top deck. with the hpis you would have to put the rx ontop of the battery rising it up above the cf deck (which wont help with its lower center of gravity)
well all i am is a basher and dont really race at all. so the use of all this lower c.o.g really doesnt help me that much besides flip overs and good deap scratches under my super chassis.

and i really cant imagine a more cleaner look than i would have now(not the one in the pic but is verry close)
