I usually pick this sort of stuff up pretty quick, so far I have taught myself and have successfully modded my pc and overclocked it big time with no heating probs, and I have uilt a robot, so I reckon after a week I will be far from n00b, for this reason I don't want to start off with a cheap car cos I will only end up buying a better one within a month
