Default RE: My 1st AFPD video

To all who are using FRAPS with Windows XP. FRAPS version 2.2.5 has the least interference and the highest quality for me[sm=thumbup.gif]. If you own FRAPS and send them an email they will give you that version FREE to try. Use 800x600 resolution. I have tried many versions however only on XP machines. Remember that upgrades are not always better.
I have tried a version for service PAC 2 however it had too much AFP program interference(I don't have service PAC 2 on my play machine[sm=bananahead.gif])therefore your mileage may vary. If possible have FRAPS send it's output to a second drive having a fast access time. I can't even tell when FRAPS version 2.2.5 runs in the background. Experiment[sm=punching.gif].
Stoiks Video Converter is available FREE on both Dion's and Stoiks site. It makes the highest quality AVI to WMV file conversion however it creates a much larger file size than Windows Movie Maker[sm=idea.gif].

WHOA...Just downloaded FRAPS version 2.5.1. Ignore the above. It is great[sm=drowning.gif].

What did you use to record that video? That clarity is awesome.

Keep practicing for the VTOC!!!
