to the question about using rechargeables. on the HPI dvd you will get i am 99% sure that they tell you to use rechargelables in all the electronics. and out of a gallon of fuel i would estimate you would go through about 20 or so sets of rechargeables (thats 20 charges of all 12). this could be totally wrong but thats what i would say. out of tank on my car you get around 8 - 10 minutes and i dont know how much is in a gallon. but the batteries i charge after every 7 - 10 tanks i would say. if you are able to work this out from the numbers given then please try but other wise i would say 20 sets lol. i hope you have a great time when you get this car and i am sure it will give you many hours of fun and enjoyment. and if you have any more questions keep asking away. hopefully some people will see i can be quite informative at times
