Excellent job on the canopy Ray. You and Gary are talking about adding to the joiners. Let me pose a thought or two on that subject.

1. The joiners are already installed. You cannot add any strength to the joiner inside the wing, only outside. It seems to me that the spot of greatest stress would be the point where the joiners leave the wing.

2. Also, adding laminate or glass may increase the thickness of the joiner assembly, causing you to have to enlarge wing joiner holes in the fuse, thereby weakening the fuse structure as well.

With the choices of motors you both have, weight is not a big issue. I can understand your concern over the integrity of your current setup. Just wanted to throw some ideas around.
