That "horizon to horizon" slow roll thing is what got me goin' the most! I saw Dave Matthewson do an 8 point roll at about 50' (maybe less ) and straight as an arrow! That really made an impression on this 16 year old... that was like "totally wicked" [X(][8D]
His was a J&J balsa version.
I knew then and there that I hadda have one...it took me a whole year of mowin' lawns, shoveling driveways, and delivering papers, but I got my Webra speed, and retracts for my Skyglas "kit" in '77 and finished it over that winter.
