I have seen both planes in action. I think the H9 is by far a better looking airplane. The Lanier just doesnt look as good.

The guy who built the lanier said that he thinks ARF on the Lanier means ( almost ready to fit) He said it was a real pain to build with very poor fit on just about everything. It is powered by a Saito 180 and it flies real well but it just doesnt look that good.

The guy who has the H9 said it was a real good fitting ARF and he had zero problems with the fit of all parts. It is powered by an OS 160 with a smoke system. It is very impressive!!!!!!!!!!!! You wouldnt believe how much a 160 will smoke!!!!!!!!

I think the 160 has a lot more power than the 180 saito also. It sure pulls the H9 around very impressively, even with the additional 2 pounds for the smoke system.

I would go with the H9 you wont be sorry.
