Default Lanier 1/4 Scale Edge

Attack Heli - I don't have any direct experience with the H9 Edge but I can tell you that you made a good decision in avoiding the Lanier Edge. I recently purchased one and stripped the covering because of some of the RCU posts I had read. A couple of the numerous things I found were cracked sheeting on one wing from the aileron cut-out to the root rib, and also cracked sheeting on one of the ailerons from the leading edge to the trailing edge. Lanier's response, after initially telling me the components would be replaced? I was told that since I had stripped the covering I had modified the plane, and therefore voided my warranty. The tech I talked to made it sound like they did me some great favor by putting a little white glue over the cracks prior to sending the wings back. I'm afraid there may also be damage to the foam cores so my only options are to either put it all in the trash or buy another set of wings, which may or may not also be cracked. Needless to say, I'm not spending another dime on this rag so I guess it's been a $350 lesson in learning not to purchase anything that is Lanier affiliated. IMO, stay away from Lanier products!
