This club wants $200/year, for that price I can get a new plane and engine, its an awsome landing strip, but surrounded by a dried up stream bed with huge boulders and trees all over. I really do like the idea of people looking over my plane before takeoff, but it still isnt worth 200 frikin bucks.

now you know why I moved up here to the high desert-you have so many dry lakes to chose from and NO CLUB silly rules or BS to put up with.
Plus if you fly a gas turbine powered model-you don't need a waiver either.(when you fly at a dry lake. )
