V-30 pump 5002 series carb

I wish I would have gotten the inverted muffler myself. I just happened to have this side mount one.

The pump and carb will make this engine idle very good and has excellent fuel draw qualitites, just what you need while in a hover.
swings an 18x6 prop no problem.

I had this setup on my first pattern plane and rarely ever did I have to adjust anything once it was set. I cant ever remember having a flame out in over 350 flights either.

Use an OS "F" plug and 15% fuel

When the rpms seem to drop off a little at top end or if the throttle transistion is not smooth through the range then it most likey needs a new plug.
I got about 50 flights before needing to change plugs.
