I tried the setup you describe and it works as advertised with one exception. If I have the B switch up and the A switch up, then the Rudder travel goes way beyond the high rate endpoint settings, potentially damaging the servo and/or the control surface. Same for the Elevator if the D and A switches are both up.

Any suggestions for dealing with this?
