CADD program?
Over the summer of 2004 I attended a Duke University sponsered program at the University of Kansas for high scores on the ACT when I was tested the year before as a freshman in highschool. I've always been interested in aviation, specificaly RC, and will be recieving my student pilot's license at 16 this May. I took an intro to aerospace engineering course and was able to use a program called AERO-CADD to create 3-d wire models of aircraft. I enjoyed the program so much because of its easy use and accuracy I came home to New Orleans with a vow to purchase the program. I got online and to my dissapointment I found the basic program to cost $750. [&o] I was wondering if there were any other similair CADD programs designed specifaclly for aviation that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. ($250 or below) I need something with x,y, and z axis and capabl[8D]e of auto generating a rib set. Also I want to get a 3-d look around at my model. Does anyone know of a program that might fit this description. I can't stand drafting my plans on 3' by 3' sheets, its driving me nuts! [:@] Thanks in advance for any help!
