I agree, you have to have a weak point. Nothing is ever bullitproof on rc's, something has to give when you majorly toast your rc so it may as well be your a arms, which usually is the #1 most damaged part in a wreck, atleast for stadium trucks, that is. As previously stated, you can bend them (allow a arms) & at the same time transfer some of that energy to other parts & end up with more of a mess. May as well just replace a cheap plastic a arm instead of an expensive alloy arm & other parts parts that were damaged w/ the force. Also, a arms are relatively easy to swap out. That's my way of thinking atleast, not trying to put down anyone w/ alloy a arms/ I have to say they do look nicer than stock plastic.
