Generally no, but there is a noticable increase in torque running through grass.
It will mainly depend on the gearing and what clutch setup you are using, along with what truck you are doing the conversion in and the suspension.
Mine would do small wheelies with the stock chassis using a 12 tooth clutch bell (single speed)
and an XTM sliding clutch with Traxxas red springs on the rear and Losi silver on the front with the stock shocks and oil.
Now that I have the JT chassis it wont at all.
