Yes the radio gear is mounted in the fuselage. Prototypes had the gear in the bottom wing however proper vertical balance of the plane requires the gear in the fuselage. The fuse is 7/8" wide inside the hatch area but if you look at the pics you can see the hatch perimeter is raised to add even more room. Both wings do come off and are secured with 4-40 socket head bolts at each cabane. The radio installation is very versatile and one can mount two or four aileron servos. Two are prefered and mounted in the top wing again for proper balance. Easily connected and disconnected for transport. Wires run through the center cabane strut.
ARFs will be some time though. We all know how previous promises of ARF deliveries have been delayed and delayed by both manufacturers and shippers. All I can sy is there will be ARFs of the 90 size Ultimate but only God knows when!
