I agree with you 100%. As they say, it's too bad that youth is wasted on the young.

I replyed to Gary in a hurry this AM and didn't really give any bio info.

At 49, I guess I'm a committed bachelor (straight). My Labrador, Huck, and I live in an old house with a wood stove for heat. House won't be on the Tour of Homes, but it keeps us dry and mostly warm. As a bachelor, I have the liberty of using the dining room for airplane assembly and repairs. I have another hobby room located off the living room but it's all junked up with gun and handloading stuff.

I'm a professional geologist and I work for a small consulting firm here in Macon. I work primarily on landfill and groundwater projects, with some construction (geotechnical) related work. My parents and brother still live on the farm about an hour north of here, and I go there when I'm not flying. I would love to retire and go back up there and build my own flying field, but I'd have to keep it pretty private because there are some neighbors not too far away.
