Default RE: Piper Cub 80" 6.5lb electric conversion HELP

The difference between those 2 motors is the number of turns per pole. Practically as the number of turns goes up you can swing a larger prop at a slower rpm. Look here for some battery/prop combos for this motor:

This motor will fly the cub well. If I had to choose I'd go with the /12 motor and about a 13X10 prop on 14 round cells or 4S LiPo
There are many places that sell combo deals on motor and ESC. Espritmodel.com is one
http://www.espritmodel.com/good_deals_axi_jeti.htm The combo is $208
It usually pays to shop around. Esprit has some handy mounts too.
HobbyLobby also has combo deals.
If you go LiPo be careful and get a good charger.
