Interesting find on the VCR motors. I'll be looking for some at the segunda!

All of my engines are gassers and come as weedeaters etc from the segunda (2nd hand store that weekly brings used stuff from S Calif.) Shipping and delivery of items to La Paz BCS is a real pain and expensive. Getting the coroplast (corrogated plastic) was another story...Harbor Sales shipped to San Diego, and then being so large the boxes would not fit in a motorhome..they ended up being loaded on a pleasure yacht coming to Mexico and I picked them up dockside at the local marina...delivery around the cape by boat! Only took 4 months of planning but I did not have the hundreds of $ they wanted for shipping to BCS!

I have not read the whole thread as yet, but plan to. I did notice that there are several people looking for planes.

If you are handy or short on funds take a look at building them yourself. There is a great engine conversion forum and SPAD forum here at RCU. Also http://www.spadtothebone.com/ for plans and http://spadworld.net/ can get people started.
