I have a quick solution. I just a built a UCD 46 as well and had the same problem with the servos and not having a reverser, Did you know hitech and futaba work opposite of each other so I have a hitech on one side (elevator) and a Futaba on the other. That way you can have the push rods on top on both sides. I just returned a new servo for a new servo and used the opposite brand.
I fly mine with a os 70 and it is awesome (14x4 w prop). I call it the make me look good plane. I makes me look like I know what I am doing.
