RE: Pay it forward (Was freebie and free engine)
Thanks Space Clam!
This looks interesting. Never built motors before. This might be a good project once we find a plane to build. I wanted to get my grandson started on a wood kit and having built a gentle lady as my first rc plane years ago and learning to fly it seat of the pants, I thought something like the dynaflite piece o cake or butterfly would be a good choice as they are incredibly slow. I want to be able to get him going on something he can have easy success with as his attention span isn't very great. We have built several plastic car kits and customized them but he wants something that flys. I would just go out and buy him something at Tower but I am currently unemployed so can't afford to spend much right now. As to how I will pay it forward... I will donate the plane to someone when my grandson has learned to fly and can graduate to something larger (like my 40 trainer).
