The LHS should have Testors transparent spray paints in several colors. Just shoot light coats until it's as dark as you need it. It'll be uneven till you get a few coats on, but the more coats you apply, the more even the color gets. If you screw it up, alcohol will remove it for another try. It's not fuel proof of course, so you'll have to spray the inside surface.
