While very cool, this confirms my theory regarding backwards flight.

Ive long thought that reverse flight for extended time was a aerodynamic physics impossibility with our current aircraft set-up.

However, I think if a plane was designed as below, reverse flight would be possible. Please excuse the rough sketch. The canards on both ends would have to move entirely. Ive not yet figured out how the yaw would be manipulated.
