OK, here we go: My shop is outside in the garage in what was previously a storage room. The room has both heating and cooling from the house HVAC system. The shop itself measures 8 x 16 and I have bench space on three walls that measure 8x8x13 and a continuous 2 foot depth. I built the bench out of 4x4's and 2x4 frame construction with a 3/4 inch plywood top. I coated the bench top with 7 coats of satin polyurethane which provides a smooth surface to wipe up spills and such. In this picture the shop was criminally clean as the picture was take just after I applied the polyurethane. Trust me guys, it is not this clean now!
