My work bench is 38" high, a nice comb for standing or sitting on a drafting stool.
I use a bench that is 3' by 6' as I can work all the way around even large planes. I cut this down from a 4'x8'. I like benches around the wall for table top power tools and storge bins. I also use them for assembly of small parts. Once I learn how to attach photos here I will show you my shop.
