The cowl on mine was distorted. I emailed Tower Hobbies and they sent me a new one, no questions asked and no request that I return the damaged one. That's worked to my advantage, as I'm using the damaged one to make the cutouts for sparkplug and exhaust pipes. Will then use it to mark the good cowl for the final fit.
