Like Tom, I use a small NiMH on the ignition (I use 4-cell however) and Li-Ion on the receiver. I use a single 2200/2400mAh from Fromeco on my giant monoplanes and a single 4400/4800mAh on my giant bi-planes. I have Kurt put 14 ga wire on the battery and regulator and additional leads on the regulator to plug into the receiver.
