Well about running the 2204/54 on a Tensor 4D .. Ive done it and it was ready to fly at 6.5 oz with a 2 cell 340 mah battery. I decided to switch because it was on the edge for power and flight time 4-5 min and it flew but wanted a little more power I think I could have gotten a few more grams out of it and it might have been fine on 2 cells instead of three the vertical is amazing on three cells although way above the draw rating of 6.5 amps max on the motor and it draws 9.5 at full throttle really pushing it but .. you hardly use full throttle. You have all seen the tensor at 10 oz how about 6.9 ?? or before at 6.5 next one will be lighter hopefully.... So it can be done..

I engoy the tensor it flys great, different but i engoy it the most now that i am used to it, great design
