Trainer Package
I agree with Dave. Believe it or not, for the most part a trainer is a trainer is a trainer. If the club you're joining leans towards one, go with it. They've probably had good experiences with it. Not only that, but their radios are probably buddy-box compatible with it. Don't undervalue that.
I can only imagine how much easier it must be for a beginner with an engine that's already set up. Someone up above talked as though that was a bad thing. That's nuts. As for the 3-bladed prop, who says you have to use it? You're going to go through a couple props while you learn anyway, so if you don't like it, don't use it.
Your club members are going to be the ones helping you and teaching you. Your hobby shop is the place you'll go for parts and supplies. Don't discard their recommendations.
