RE: Ultrafly Cessna 182 ARF
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, work is nuts and it's looking like a new job, perhaps a move back to Ohio, is on the horizon. Anyway, I have the wing completed minus the flap servo installation. Fuse is all glued up and the elevator and rudder are almost complete.
I'm going to airbrush it when I'm done, not sure of the scheme, proba a scale paint job, I found a couple I like alot.
I agree about the amount of work, although I like it! It's surprising how much there is to do to get a piece of faom in the air!! I also agree about the wing mounting/holddown scheme. I'm going to fly it that way for now. When I switch over to the advanced wing I will probably modify it with something a bit more robust.
I checked Atlanta Hobby and I couldn't find the hinges. I'd like to use them on the GWS P-51 and A-10 I just got. Construction won't start for a few weeks so I got some time to look around.... They are DUBRO, right?
Anyway, post more pics when you can and I promise I'll do the same...soon?
