Guys,

I just setup my 7c on my USL last night. What I did was to set the flaps and airbrake to switch G. When the switch is up the airbrake function is activated. When it's in the middle position the flaps and airbrake are disabled. When it's in the down position the flaps alone are activated. I don't think I will use the flap to elevator mix. The 7C CAN NOT do the aileron to flap mix.

You do have to enable the flap trim, but I set it to 0%.

I have the ailerons on 1 and 7, the flaps are on 6 with a reverse Y, and I'm using 5 for my remote ignition switch.

There's a FAQ on the futaba web site on how to setup the 7c with a four servo wing. I didn't use it, but it tells you the limitations of the radio and gives you a good idea of how to setup the functions that it can handle.

If I had the 9C I would set it up the same, except that in the middle switch position I would activate the aileron to flap mixing. I've got my eyes out for a good deal, but I'm happy with the way I've got my setup.
