Default RE: Operation R/C

I would like to say thanks to Greg and Dennis for doing all of this. You both really are great guys. With any luck this will catch on and maybe some of the members of R/C Universe will find some deployed soldiers to "help out" with some R/C stuff to pass the time over here. I know I will have a great time with the Tazz once it gets here. Once I get it all assembled I will be sure to send some pics and video of it flying. I just hope the AH-64 Apaches that patrol our base dont shoot it down! Then again, that would make one heck of a video! Thanks for everything!
This was done by personaly contributors on another forum with great success. I know that it made a big difference in the lives on the service persons that received the airplanes and magazines. The soldiers posted pictures and many kind words of thanks which was more than was expected of them, under the given conditions.

Thank you for your service to our country, it is people like you that make this a great nation and we can never repay you for your selfless commitment to defending our country and making this world free and safe for all people.

Do you know of any other soldiers that fly RC or that want to learn to fly? If so please have them post either here or start another thread here at RCU. Help them post pictures and tells use a little about themselves, I am sure that once we know who they are, we could do to help to make their deployment a little better. I know that Old Lady and I would be glad to do something to help.

Thank you and God Bless you
